What is the best age to
have my baby's portrait taken?
Newborns, ideally, should be
photographed within the first 7 days of
life. It's important to have portraits
created during this stage because it is
very easy to curl and position newborns
into those sweet little poses. Also, you
will have a permanent record of your
baby's tiny size. After all, he/she will
never be that small again!
After the newborn stage, we recommend
having portraits made at any stage you
feel is important, i.e., sitting up,
crawling, walking, birthdays, special
occassions. These stages don't
always coincide with the typical 3-month
milestones that most parents want to
capture, so it's important to remember
that a portrait at any stage is a
priceless record of your child on that
particular day. It doesn't necessarily
need to happen at exactly the 6 or
9-month mark.
